Commercial Description:
This light, Golden Cream Ale is brewed with German Bruhmalt, and American Hops. Smooth and refreshing, with a delicate hint of honey, it is the prefect choice for those who enjoy light beers.

Their weakest offering, intended for the macro drinkers. Not much aroma, some honey, but tasted mostly like water, seemed thin. Most people reading this would probably be happier with one of their other brews.

I might have been sitting next to kaggie and pounder? Honey cream was not a good effort. Some hint of honey, but it’s an ok beer to walk around with on a hot day.

On tap at the brewpub - pours a dark orange with a light white head. Aroma has some faint fresh lake accents. The flavor has some slight sweet honey notes, but not much else. Very smooth drinking, nut nothing to get excited about. Mouthfeel is not very creamy, in fact it turns a bit metallic near the end. Probably the weakest of the five I had on my visit.

A nice, tasty little brew that is best enjoyed after a day at E Rock. Sweet, slippery, and satisfying- the honey is just noticeable enough, with the hops holding it back nicely.

One of the better beers from FBC. No idea wh they bill it as a light beer drinkers beer; It is not light at all but does have a sweet flavour taht any drinker can enjoy

This beer is billed as one that light beer drinkers would like....that made me expect some watery, adjunct crap. On the contrary, this beer actually had a decent, sweet flavor with an excellent hop finish.

I have to admit that I wasn’t expecting much based on the last line of the commercial description. But I found the slight hoppy-honey taste pretty decent, with just enough flavor to keep things interesting. Being 4.7%, it’s not really a light beer by anyone’s definition, but I’d drink it again.
