2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Nena (963) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 30, 2011Medium gold oranhe, white head. Not much of a nose, soft floral and citrus. Watery, a little caramel, sweet floral finish with low bitterness. Pretty anemic. Maybe it’s my Pacific Northwest expectations talking, but I I would not have pegged this as a pale ale if it weren’t labeled as such.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 travita (3050) - Frisco, Texas, USA - MAY 11, 2012
Draft at the brewpub. Golden deep color, lacing white head, and clear. The smell is hops, slight citrus, florals, and ok. The taste is weaker, watery, slight butter, hops, floral.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Terminus (2892) - Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA - APR 7, 2012
tap at the brewpub-pours lite orange with a small soapy white head. nose is lite floral and lite medicnal notes-not very hoppy for a pale ale. flavors of oranges, lemons lite citrus mostly. not much character to speak of. with this great recipe, im suprised this doesnt come out better. more bittering and dry hops however, that would piss of the masses that come into this place for standard beers.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 theisti (2822) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - FEB 3, 2012
16 oz. plastic cup draft from the back room at the Brew Pub in Fredericksburg, Texas. The pour is a hazed orange copper, with small off white head. The nose is very faint, very minimal toasted malt and perhaps a hint of orange citrus. The taste shows more character, orange fruit sweetness, herbal yeast notes, lightly tart towards the back, and some cracker malt at the end. The finish has a bit of "home brew" character to it. Palate is medium to light bodied, mineral notes, than some earthiness and dirt in the finish. This was just OK compared to the other beers I tried here.
1.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 geo1246 (4) - USA - DEC 19, 2011 does not count
The best of the bunch. Decent nose but utterly vapid beer. If I had made this at home it’d probably be a pour-out.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 kidmartinek (2453) - austin, Texas, USA - NOV 13, 2011
Cloudy, deep gold color. Small white head. Piny citrus aroma but on the weak side. The flavor is bitter and tastes like a substantial amount of amarillo hops, so in other words, it kicks ass. Go drink it.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 mmmbeer (1154) - Austin, Texas, USA - NOV 5, 2011
Sampler at the joint- served a slightly cloudy faded straw color, subdued aroma of hops and biscuits, small white head was formed and did lace nicely. Hits the mouth with a light-medium body, malt seemed dulled, faint hop cresent in the middle, finish has an odd orange feel to it. A bit all over the map for me.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Fratto (2328) - Arlington, Texas, USA - NOV 14, 2010
On tap at the brewery. Medium orange pour with a bubbly white head. Aroma is weak, caramel, floral, and a little citrus. Taste is very bitter up front, bread, roasted caramel, a little butter. Nice hop finish.

(Draught at GABF) clear gold with soapy white bubbles. Nose of peach, white pepper, orange, foot funk, and sweet sweat. Taste of orange, citrus, biscuit and peach. Oily slick finish, drinkable but not very tasty.
