COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Bülows Blonde (5.0%): En belgisk inspireret lys belgisk ale, også kaldet en blonde. Den er brygget på tre slags malt, en god portion hvid belgisk kandis og den tyske humle Hallertau mittelfrüh. Det er en let drikkelig ale, hvor duft og smag er domineret af krydrede og syrlige noter fra den belgiske gær og den tyske humle giver en mild bitterhed til øllet.
Alle navnene på øllene fra Frederiksodde Haandbryggerlaug har, som bekendt, forbindelse med Fredericias historie, og denne her er ingen undtagelse. Bülows Blonde, som den hedder, er opkaldt efter Frederik Rubeck Henrik Bülow (1791- 1858), der var øverstbefalende under Fredericiaslaget 6. Juli 1849. Hans monument, som er en buste lavet af Bissen, står på Bülows plads ved det gamle rådhus og blev afsløret 6. Juli 1859. Triumfbuen udenom, kom først til i 1880.

Murky orange colour with almost white, disappearing head. Aroma is stale and rather typical to a danish ale with berries, fruits and yeast. Flavour is somewhat sticky, dry and sourish with berries and fruits. Palate has just right amount of CO2. Drinkable.

Bottled. Hazy orange colour, small off-white head. Aroma is dry-rabbit-food pellets, some fruityness, yeast as well as some mild floral notes. Flavour is fruits, wood, toffee as well as some zesty notes as well. As it warms up it gets quite alcoholic.

Alc. 5.4%. Clear medium amber orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, sour malt, moth. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sour malt. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090910]
