2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Sigmund (3713) - Hafrsfjord, - NOV 27, 2007
330 ml clear bottle, thanks to yngwie! ABV is 4.7%. Pale golden colour, large head. Aroma of pilsener malts and boiled vegetables. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour has, unlike most Norwegian "Sommerøl", actually traces of both malts and hops, with a moderate sweetness. Not a great beer, but better than I feared.

UPDATED: FEB 15, 2012 On bottle from local grocery store. A very average norwegian lager. Very light colour with a white head. Weak taste, and not much aroma.
0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 ABS (159) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 5, 2011
Thin and watery as the brewery’s normal lager. A bit more bitter, and a bit more aroma and taste than the normal one, actually.

330ml bottle, 4.5% abv, from Centra Colosseum Oslo. Golden body with a chalk white head that fades quickly to a thin layer. Vaguely smell of grass and corn. Sweet fruity taste with malts behind. Soft in the mouth. Rather anonymous, however, not as boring as the two other summer beers I sampled together with this one (hotel room, Oslo 10.06.2010).

Bottle. Harsh hoppiness, bitter finish. Apart from that thin and watery - very true to style..

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 yngwie (9201) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 12, 2007
Bottle. Pours a clear, almost golden body, with a minimal white head leaving nice lacings. Quite nice, malty aroma with a little fruity note of hops. The flavor is on the malty side as well, with a weak bready touch and some bitterness without leaving much hop flavor. Medium body, with a slightly sticky impression. It finishes quite malty, but the bitterness is more pronounced here, and so is the bready note. For a Norwegian summer beer, it is very nice. It could use a bit more hops, especially in the aroma, but it definately is a nice, pale lager. Refreshing and quite tasteful, easy to drink and (strangely enough) not forgettable. I find it strange that this is only distributed locally. (071112)
2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 OleR (3658) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 13, 2007
Bottle. One of a dozen, pale and light, grainy and sweetish, not bad, not good, but rateble, drinkable and unimpressive. Average pale lager all over. Hints of dry grassy hops in the aroma though...

Aroma is grassy but turns sweaty, taste is similar and becomes boring quickly.
