Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is light heavy malty, dark malt, caramel, spicy, cinnamon, X-mas spces - allspice - star anis - cardamom, nutmeg. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, spicy bitter, X-mas spices. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121216]

Way too complex, but a good xmas ale. Brewed with cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, coriander, juniper, pink pepper, ginger and nutmeg, this beer has a spicy and bitter taste. Color is dark amber/red with a small off-white head.
