Cask at Open Baladin, Roma - 04/10/12. Clear golden blonde with a big frothy off white head. Nose is very vegetal, peas, corn, grain a little hops and citrus and also slightly nutty. Tastes of malts, grain, a little vegetal but not so much to put you off drinking also a little peppery. Medium bodied with fine carbonation leading to a bitter finish.

250 ml on tap at The Factory. Light amber, slightly hazy, with a small, creamy and persistent off white head. Citrusy forward nose, togheter with a string crystal malts/caramel presence. Very clean aroma though. Rather big astringency upfront, moderate to high bitterness. Thin and dry making it very thirst quenching. Good.

fraz (36) - Castiglioncello - Livorno, ITALY - JUL 5, 2013
UPDATED: SEP 30, 2013 Serving - Poured from a 33cl bottle into a TEKU glass.
Appearance - Lasting off-white head, fine to creamy bubbles. Hazy deep golden color.
Aroma - Intense and persistent. Primary aromas of hop. Secondary aromas of citrus, white flowers, grass, pepper and spicy notes.
Mouth - Intense and persistent. Bitter entrance with some malty notes. Rather astringent. Hop and earthy tastes. Long lasting bitter at the end. Low carbonation. Fair body. Low to medium alcoholic warming.
Overall - Refreshing and bitter. Unbalanced towards the bitter Bitter resinous residual at the end. Harmonic smell and taste.
Beer and food - The bitter is well present. Can be a very effective cleaning mouth beer accompanied with pork meat or fatty fish. Good also as session beer, if one likes the bitter.

Non male, apa un po’ sciacquetta ma dissetante. Devono farne di strada ma sono già a buon punto.

Bottled 0,33L. Very fraught amber/orange color, fomay and resistant head with an elegant bubbly aspect. Very hop aroma, dried flowery notes and little burned wood final. Realy crisp and lively taste, much fresh at start with an arid and very hoppy body. Good and balanced alcoholic perception, pleasant cotex and resin final.
