Theydon_Bois (11675) - Tourist Town (West), Berkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 1, 2013
Cask at Open Baladin, Roma, 21/06/13. Pitch black with a big dirty tan head - this fella looks the bollocks! Nose is roast malt, chocolate maltesers, cocal powder, light sugar. Taste comprises a good roasty bite, dark chocolate, earthy. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth on the palate. Overall this looks and feels great, such an easy drinker. Aroma and taste, whilst acceptable, lack a little depth though.

Mortlach (1113) - Rome, ITALY - MAR 18, 2013
28/01/2013 Brasserie 4:20 (tap).

Deep black with a minimal, not much persistent, tan head. Aroma of coffee, licorice. Light body, soft carbonation. Ends dry with a pleasant dark chocolate/coffee feel on your mouth
