Clear golden orange with a fizzy white head. Floral barley and honey aroma and taste with a brassy hibiscus finish.

From Growler to snifter. Pours bright reddish-orange with a tight thin head and tight bubbles. Sweet scent with light floral notes. Taste is crisp with the Rose (hibiscus?) being the primary flavor that compliments the citrus burn. Palate is medium,oily with a nice buzz on the tongue. Overall a good beer with lots of interesting notes, not my thing but glad to share it.

10 oz draft at the brew pub in Lawrence, Kansas. Pour is clear orange ruby with a smallish off white head. Aroma is the floral yeast up front, along with some light apple fruit. The taste is big and strong floral (I’ll assume that’s hibiscus) and really not much else. The finish fades into a slightly unclean maltiness. Palate is medium bodied, lower carbonation and the floral sweet in the finish. The aftertaste lingers with very faint diacetyl which does not interact well with the floral. I am not a big fan of floral spiced beers, and this really wasn’t my thing. Fun and interesting though.
