3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle courtesy of Headbanger. Color is a light tan amber with light carbonation and a thin head. Aroma of sweet caramel. It has a medium body that gives a rich and yet crisp mouth feel. Flavor comes in with grain and caramel then some spicy hops give it a peppery note and an even bitterness. The pepper and bitter stand out a little more in the after taste. Overall it a well done Bock.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle @ home, courtesy of jcnielsen. Thanks Jetson! Pours a hazy, dark orange appearance with a cream colored head. Toasted grainy, light citrus, honey, grassy aroma. Honey, straw, toasted malty, somewhat bready flavor with the grassy, somewhat bitter hoppiness kicking in towards the end. Overall, a pretty decent offering.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled. Pours a golden-orange color with thin white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, and earthy. Sweet, malty, caramel flavor, followed by a grassy, earthy, somewhat bitter aftertaste. Nice beer. I wish more American brewers would take a shot at brewing maibock / heller bocks.
