Picked up a Growler after a 43 mile run to Free State. (Long day running...) Great nose of a classic Saison. Easy to drink and the yeast really does a lot of the heavy lifting on this one. Good example of the variety here. Pick one up!

Quite excited to see a brewpub saison on the board .. . pours out hazy yellow, good head, light lacing .. . light bitterness, hay and light light yeast .. . very simple and lackluster .. . i wanted more .. . Old people don’t need companionship. They need to be isolated and studied so it can be determined what nutrients they have that might be extracted for our personal use.

Draft in Lawrence. Fairly typical saison appearance and aroma. The flavor trended more towards the sweet and fruity side of the house. Really nice and refreshing really. Pleasant.

Clear light golden with a fizzy white head. Sweet lemon and grain aroma and taste with a spicy straw flavored finish.

Growler; thanks Alex!! light amber and clear with faint white head; fruity juicy nose with some white pepper and mango; banana phenols with a light bubblegum, fruity juice and stale lemons; quite sweet to me and not very dry at all in the finish; more fruit juicy is my overall impression as opposed to yeast forward

Draft at the brewpub. Fruity, sweet, floral aroma, lightly citric and honeyish, with notes of orange and spicy yeast. Dark golden orange in color with a lasting, fine head. Flavor is sweet, with plenty of doughy, spicy yeast and tropical fruit detected, finish is very mildly acidic and refreshing. Mouthfeel is effervescent, body is medium. Tasty, a little sweet, but made for an excellent pairing with an Italian salad with balsamic vinaigrette.

Thanks Alex – Amber in color, hazy with a thin head. Nice aroma of malt and Belgian yeast. Lots of herbal flavors and very spicy this finishes quite interesting.

Bomber via trade with tgenenbacher, thanks again Todd!. Pours a hazy, sort of dirty gold with a 1 finger, creamy white head that has good retention. Aroma is dusty prarie flower hop notes, wheat, light, nondistinct tropical notes, citrus peels, light spice and just a hint of bubble gum. Flavor is full of sweet, dusty floral notes, citrus punch, doughy yeast, pineapple, banana, vanilla cake and bubble gum. Palate is medium bodied a little sticky on entry, dry and slightly chalky from there on out with a moderate, blanketing carbonation. Good stuff for sure, a little too sweet though.

Nose is fruity and wheaty with banana, bubblegum, lemon, soft spices. Pours orange hazy with a thin head and lace. The flavor is banana and bubble gum, soft sweet spice, almost reminiscient of a German Hefe. Nice and drinkability soft and sweet. Tasty stuff.

Thanks riversideak! Juicy tropical bubble gum aroma, intense. pale yellow, small white head. thin bodied, light lemon notes, dry herbal cotton kinda finish.

growler, thanks alex! pours a cloudy medium amber with a loose off white head. banana and clove nose, very german hefe like, with fruit loops mixed in. creamy medium body with soft carb. tangy caramel, banana, and clove mid palate. mild tangy finish. offbeat and interesting.
