This boldly hopped ale will take you to new heights of hoppiness. Copious amounts of Chinook, Columbus, and Cascade hops combine to evoke far off places with the scents and flavors of tropical fruit, pine needles, flowers and a hint of freshly mown grass. A choice malt bill lifts the hops, providing balance and keeping this beer on course.

I’m becoming increasingly impressed with this little midwest brewhouse. Vibrant copper pour with small off-white head. Big thick earthy grapefruit aroma. Tastes of hop resin, sap, grapefruit rind and pine cone. Has an almost fresh hop feel to it. Smooth, almost chewy. Perfectly bitter. Good stuff.

Aroma - great grapefruit and citrus flavors Appearance - nice pale, copper with minimal white lacing head Taste - very pronounced bitterness, both up front and finish. Bitterness lingers Mouthfeel - light/medium bodied, slightly sticky **palate may have been wrecked by delicious Siracha chicken burrito**

On tap at 2014 GTMW, pours a clear dark orange with a thick off white head and lots of lacing, the aroma is of strong hops and citrus with a bit of tropical fruit mixed up too, the flavor has a ton of fruit and bitterness on the front end with the alcohol well hidden in the finish, bright finish and a smooth mouthfeel, nice.

12 oz bottle. Tasted on 10/5/14. Beer courtesy of Chae... Thanks!!! The aroma has a dank funky aroma with notes of citrus & stone fruit. The taste follows the aroma & has a fruity flavor medium hops bitterness & finishes pretty dry. A different flavor than most DIPA but in a good way. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle, from Lukas Liquors in Missouri. Best by 8/2014. Mostly clear amber color. Made hazy with chunky yeast particles in the body. Thin ring of white head, some dots of lace. Bitter bitter taste, light sweet. Just a very light bite on it, otherwise alcohol is not bothersome. Piney hop, light herbal resin.. Bigger body, kind of slick. Kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Less aroma hop, more bittering at the moment. Alright stuff. Drinkable but not delicious. Would like more aroma on it.. Probably much more enjoyable super fresh.

Pour is a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is a pungent hop with not much else showing. Flavor is an ok hop with some chalky malts. Finish is super bitter with a small amount of hop resin left. A small decent fruitiness is left on the tongue. The only thing imperial about this is the alcohol which is not found. The hops are there but this is kind of a dry malty mess.

Pleasant C hop aroma. Gold/copper color, some haze. Big resinous hop bite with the full range of grapefruit and pine flavors. Caramel sweetness balances the bitterness without being syrup like.

Good one. Citrus and pine notes in the nose. Hazy light copper color. Full and somewhat weighty palate with a clean finish. Good carbonation. Hop-forward beer with a clean bitterness that stays. Good malt and caramel backbone to support the beer. Nicely done.
