COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This boldly hopped ale will take you to new heights of hoppiness. Copious amounts of Chinook, Columbus, and Cascade hops combine to evoke far off places with the scents and flavors of tropical fruit, pine needles, flowers and a hint of freshly mown grass. A choice malt bill lifts the hops, providing balance and keeping this beer on course.

Draught at Barley’s Brewhaus. (AKA - Cloud Hopper Imperial IPA). Pours slightly hazy golden color with orange hues. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, mango. Flavor is mango, grapefruit, pine, lemon, floral. Sweet up front with a nice balancing bitterness through the middle. Finish is a mix of sweet and bitter while dry. A great Imperial IPA!

Bottle picked up in KC. Pours clear cooper with creamy head. Nose is dank pine, earth, herbal resins and some citrus. The Cs are noticeable. Flavor loaded with bitterness and malt backing sweetness along with some alcohol heat on the finish. Big pleasant DPA from Jayhawk country ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma has resin and citrus with a laundry/soapy twist. Color is amber, pours clear with minimal head and a slight lacing of white foam. Flavor has a light sweetness and medium bitterness with some sourness afterward. Texture has a medium body, with a thin feel, soft carbonation, and a moderately bitter, lasting finish. High ABV is noticeable but not overpowering although it seems to leave a bit of an antiseptic aroma -- or at least I think that’s where that is coming from.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy orange amber with a small creamy off white head that goes to a thin film that leaves some lacing.

The aroma is sweet caramel malt, tropical fruit and some piney hops.

The flavor is sweet caramel malt, tropical fruit and piney resiny hops. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, a very nicely balanced DIPA. Great blend of sweet caramel malt, fruits and piney hops.

355ml bottle at home, from trade with RobertDale. Thank you Bob! Light hazy golden orange color with nice off white head. Light hoppy and malty aroma, some pine, spicy hoppy, citrus and tropical fruits. Taste is sweet and bitter, like aroma but more intense, better. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a snifter glass dark golden with a slightly off white head. Aroma is sweet like honey, clover, flowers with a touch of bitterness. Probably one of the most delectable brews I have inhaled in a long time. Flavorto the palate is flat out crazy beautiful. Sweet pine trees needles. Then definitely add in the freshly mowed lawn. Far better than most DIPAs. This brewery nailed the style almost perfectly. And it;s in Lawrence KS? Good thing my parents are KU grads or would have never believed something this good came from Kansas. LOVE!!!

12 oz bottle, best by 7/15. Clear orange brown with a pocked head. Nose is orange juice, kiwi, light pine and toffee. Silky medium to full body with a tang and building warmth. Taste is caramel, pine, grapefruit, white pepper and bubblegum. Bitter, citrus peel finish.

Didn’t really work for me. Decent aroma of grass and hay. But those same characteristics were harsh in flavor. I found it an unbalanced and harsh double ipa.

Color is a slight copper orange, light head, slight lace. Malt aroma with sweet fruit somewhat mild, a little resin pine, maybe slight floral. Some yeast funk and vegetable plantyness. ok aroma some mineral even plastic, like of mead or fruit wine. Flavor follows through as a good imperial ipa with classic c hop flavor.Fruit citrus, pine, some spice, more spice on the end. Pine and menthol resin bitter. Cleans up nice and dry with a semi long bitter. Malt sweet and bitter is nicely balanced, nice smooth creaminess. Pretty good for an imperial besides the aroma for its abv I like this more than average.

Pale copper pour with a thin off white heads sustained by a high effervescence. Aroma is sweet tropical fruit and citrus, toast, biscuit, light caramel, some nice fruity notes. Flavor is big grapefruit citrus, pineapple, some melon, grass, herbal, caramel, honey, toast. Medium body, slightly syrupy, dry entry, light to medium carbonation dry, slightly slick finish with a moderate hop acid bite. Really good stuff over all, conventional, but solid IIPA.
