COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This boldly hopped ale will take you to new heights of hoppiness. Copious amounts of Chinook, Columbus, and Cascade hops combine to evoke far off places with the scents and flavors of tropical fruit, pine needles, flowers and a hint of freshly mown grass. A choice malt bill lifts the hops, providing balance and keeping this beer on course.

Draught at Barley’s Brewhaus. (AKA - Cloud Hopper Imperial IPA). Pours slightly hazy golden color with orange hues. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, mango. Flavor is mango, grapefruit, pine, lemon, floral. Sweet up front with a nice balancing bitterness through the middle. Finish is a mix of sweet and bitter while dry. A great Imperial IPA!

12 oz bottle, best by 06/14. Beautiful hazy copper color on the pour. Some sweetness in the aroma that reminds me of gumballs. Definitely not your typical DIPA. Highly drinkable and outside the box. I would get this again.

It poured a cloudy golden brown color with a small off-white head. The aroma was of hops, grapefruit and passion fruit with grass and a big malt presence. The palate was rich and had an oily creamy finish. The taste was of passion fruit and grapefruit with a dry piney finish and a sweet malt backbone. Nice.

Great nose. piney aroma. citrus, piney flavor. A little resinous after taste. Not very smooth for an imperial ipa.

Hazy orange color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, orange, floral hops, pine, toast, and a bit of bubblegum. Taste of citrus, pine, grass, and a dry finish. Seemed like too much chinook.

I’m becoming increasingly impressed with this little midwest brewhouse. Vibrant copper pour with small off-white head. Big thick earthy grapefruit aroma. Tastes of hop resin, sap, grapefruit rind and pine cone. Has an almost fresh hop feel to it. Smooth, almost chewy. Perfectly bitter. Good stuff.

One of the best Free State has to offer. Nice balance of sweetness, hops, and malt. I highly recommended trying.

12oz Bottle A - Pours amber with a small creamy white head that dissipates instantly. Good lacing. S - Faint citrus. A little tingle drone the alcohol. T - Grapefruit, citrus rind, resin, pine, & a presence of alcohol. M - Full bodied. Slick/slightly syrupy mouthfeel. Resin bitter finish. O - Solid hop bomb. Will try fresh next year.
