Draught at Barley’s Brewhaus. (AKA - Cloud Hopper Imperial IPA). Pours slightly hazy golden color with orange hues. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, mango. Flavor is mango, grapefruit, pine, lemon, floral. Sweet up front with a nice balancing bitterness through the middle. Finish is a mix of sweet and bitter while dry. A great Imperial IPA!

Didn’t really work for me. Decent aroma of grass and hay. But those same characteristics were harsh in flavor. I found it an unbalanced and harsh double ipa.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Color is a slight copper orange, light head, slight lace. Malt aroma with sweet fruit somewhat mild, a little resin pine, maybe slight floral. Some yeast funk and vegetable plantyness. ok aroma some mineral even plastic, like of mead or fruit wine. Flavor follows through as a good imperial ipa with classic c hop flavor.Fruit citrus, pine, some spice, more spice on the end. Pine and menthol resin bitter. Cleans up nice and dry with a semi long bitter. Malt sweet and bitter is nicely balanced, nice smooth creaminess. Pretty good for an imperial besides the aroma for its abv I like this more than average.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pale copper pour with a thin off white heads sustained by a high effervescence. Aroma is sweet tropical fruit and citrus, toast, biscuit, light caramel, some nice fruity notes. Flavor is big grapefruit citrus, pineapple, some melon, grass, herbal, caramel, honey, toast. Medium body, slightly syrupy, dry entry, light to medium carbonation dry, slightly slick finish with a moderate hop acid bite. Really good stuff over all, conventional, but solid IIPA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at 2014 GTMW, pours a clear dark orange with a thick off white head and lots of lacing, the aroma is of strong hops and citrus with a bit of tropical fruit mixed up too, the flavor has a ton of fruit and bitterness on the front end with the alcohol well hidden in the finish, bright finish and a smooth mouthfeel, nice.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle. Tasted on 10/5/14. Beer courtesy of Chae... Thanks!!! The aroma has a dank funky aroma with notes of citrus & stone fruit. The taste follows the aroma & has a fruity flavor medium hops bitterness & finishes pretty dry. A different flavor than most DIPA but in a good way.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle, from Lukas Liquors in Missouri. Best by 8/2014. Mostly clear amber color. Made hazy with chunky yeast particles in the body. Thin ring of white head, some dots of lace. Bitter bitter taste, light sweet. Just a very light bite on it, otherwise alcohol is not bothersome. Piney hop, light herbal resin.. Bigger body, kind of slick. Kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Less aroma hop, more bittering at the moment. Alright stuff. Drinkable but not delicious. Would like more aroma on it.. Probably much more enjoyable super fresh.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pour is a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is a pungent hop with not much else showing. Flavor is an ok hop with some chalky malts. Finish is super bitter with a small amount of hop resin left. A small decent fruitiness is left on the tongue. The only thing imperial about this is the alcohol which is not found. The hops are there but this is kind of a dry malty mess.
