Tap @ FS, pours a darker than expected cloudy amber color with a nice off-white head that persists, great lacing. Aroma of light oak, bourbon/whiskey, orange peel and light spice. Flavor has good belgian wheat qualities, but with subtle overtones of the barrel-aging coming along nicely. Overall, this is a very well balanced and complimentary BA beer, not overdone or heavyhanded. Looking forward to trying again with the local cherry juice blend, and seeing what the other Eccentricity BA series surprises will be! Thanks for spicing up the summer Free State!
