COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Pre-Prohibition Pilsner is an approximation of the beer typically produced in America in the years leading up to Prohibition in 1920. Light in color and on the pallet, this pale golden lager finishes with a grainy sweetness from the use of flaked corn and a substantial hop aroma and flavor from classic Czech Saaz hops.

Very good pilsener. Sessionable. Light and bready with a distinct hop character. Medium body. If this is the beer Kansans were drinking prior to Prohibition, I wouldn’t have minded being there.

10oz pour. Bready malt and some corn sweetness, fragrant floral hops. Straw colored with an off white head. Taste is bready malt, a touch of sweet corn and floral and herbal hops. Well attenuated, easy to drink. A very nice example of the style.
