COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This fuller bodied Imperial Saison transforms the Brightwater Saison into a bigger beast. They share the same yeast, but vary greatly in their overall make-up, with Megatron being, simply, more of everything. Galaxy hops provide out-of-this-world fruit aromas and flavors including peaches, apricot and mangos.

6 oz draft pour at the brew pub in Lawrence, Kansas. Pour is a golden orange, mostly clear, with a white head. Aroma is sweet flower, grain, lemon citrus and a touch of honey sweetness. Taste starts of with a big sweetness - honey floral, some additional flowery dandelion, sweet orange fruit, and a touch of citrus peel buried under the sweet. Palate is medium bodied, slick mouth feel, and a long sweet grassy finish. This is well built, though too sweet for my personal preference.

tap at brewpub-pours lite orange with a small fizzy white head and some lacing. nose is kind of fruity-muddled citrus, lite colored fruit, like rose pedals in a sense. flavors are muddled citrus, spices, almost like a trippel lots of sweet apple and pear with a touch of peach flavors. this says there are alot of hops, well i didnt detect them. not really a farmhouse saison if you ask me. maybe im biased but im not a fan of heavily spiced saisons. This seems to be the case here.

UPDATED: NOV 20, 2011 Has it a few times at the brewpub. Imperial Saison it is. Sweet malt backbone and strong esters overtake what would be too much hoppiness for a Belgian to start with. Fruitiness from hops with mango and tropical esters explode in the aftertaste as well. Good in small doses, good thing I enjoy sweet Belgiany brews but I could see others hating this.

On tap at the brewpub. Poured a clear fruit like gold with a white head that dissipated to the edges slowly. Aroma was full of floral notes with a bit o light fruits and a slight backing of sweet grains and yeast. Flavor is sweet with flora and light fruits with a hint of grass and backing grain that come out in the finish.
