COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Full body and a well rounded flavor comes from a foundation of seven different grains. The oats add a special silky texture that complements the roasted malts. The rich malty flavor is spiced with plenty of Northern Brewer and Fuggles hops for balance.

On tap at Shamrocks. Served a deep brown color with a thick foamy head that faded slowly to ample lacing. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malt, bit of grain and nuts in the background. Taste is malty with semi-sweet dark chocolate, roasted malt, bit of nuts and a hint of dark fruit in the background. Subtle bitterness and a finish that is quite clean. Full body, smooth and creamy, almost silky. Nicely balanced. Enjoyable beer that is an easy drinker.

12oz bottle, solid beer, no qualms about drinking it the oats added more to the taste than I’ve found in other oatmeal stouts, i don’t much care for fuggle but this one works.

Pours a murky, dark brown black with one finger head and light lacing. Roasted malt predominant, hint of coffee. Not much chocolate. Hint of grassy hops. Moderate bitterness with a hint of sweet. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Long bitter hop finish. This is pretty good, but would hope for more full body and robust appearance.
