3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 OzarkElmo (250) - Poplar Bluff, USA - NOV 9, 2011
From bottle on Oct 15th (Thanks Ronnie!). Pours a deep amber with moderate beige head, mostly diminishing. Good lacing lingering throughout. Caramel and a bit of smoke on the nose. Very good going down - well balanced and finishes just right. Not too sweet as some O’fests tend to be. Excellent!
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 rlaw (812) - Alabama, USA - NOV 10, 2011
Bottle. Poured a dark amber with a medium-sized off-white head. Aroma and flavor are full of rich but not heavy malt, caramel, a touch of smoke and fruit. Very clean, clear malt flavor. One of the best Octoberfests I’ve ever had. Wish it was available where I live -- would be drinking a lot of this.
