On tap at Free State during the 20th anniversary. Pours a very hazy, dull yellow body with a small, creamy, white head that dissipates quickly and remains lightly laced. Aroma of both wheat and pale malts. Kind of weird, fruity, champagne smell to it. A bit of flowery grassiness and lots of sour lemons. Flavor is more of that sour/tart champagne. I’m guessing a champagne yeast was used giving it this distinct flavor. Lots of sour lemons and some apple juice. Wheaty with some kind of light, herbal spice. Pretty bready and honey in the finish with a slightly tart linger. Palate is light and soft, but sour. Overall, not a big fan of this one. It does have a lot of sweet flavor to it, but I think its too sweet and sour for me.

(Draught) Pours a hazy yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, grass, floral, and light herbs. Flavor of grass, light lemon, yeast, and some spices.

GTMW 2008: Golden and orange hue with a frothy white head. The aroma has notes of biscuity malt, herbal hops, honey, earthy and woody, apple and pear esters. The taste has moderate bitterness and acidity with a fruity twang. Bready pale malt background leads towards a slightly spicy finish. The mouth feel is soft and smooth, A solid beer even if not really towards style.
