COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This bold, blonde American IPA employs a healthy dose of wheat malt and generous amounts of Crystal, Centennial, and Citra hops. The hops provide a great citrusy bouquet and abundant notes of grapefruit and orange, while the wheat malt provides a crisp tartness to this lighter-bodied IPA.

UPDATED: JUN 7, 2014 Pours clear gold with a couple inches of white head. Aroma is light pine, light citrus. Taste is earthy, resin, mild bitterness. Body is very thin, lacking in carbonation. Overall there are no off flavors or aromas, just nothing very noteworthy whatsoever. Decent at best.

Orange to golden pour with a foamy single finger head. Lots of lace present. Aroma has some orange notes and is a little sweet. Taste is pretty bitter with some bread like qualities. Hints of citrus, grass and is a bit astringent. Medium bodied.

Aroma of caramel and tart citrus rind, but has an odd soapy quality that knocks it down a notch for me. Very attractive medium orange color that is barely see through and has bubbles rising to the top of a bright white head. The taste is very malty (again caramel) with the same orange rind quality from the aroma. Pleasantly bitter and refreshing, it truly is a summer IPA. The aftertaste is a little metallic which detracts from the taste a bit. Nice palate, smooth albeit a little watery with good refreshing carbonation. Not bad, but the other reviewers were right on this one. Buy Free Stateís Cloud Hopper instead - itís much better.

On tap at GTMW 2015, pours a amber orange with a thin white head and some lacing in the glass, the aroma is of slight hops, not a ton of fruit and hops come through, the flavor is also very light, not much on the front end but has a slight bitter finish, meh.

12oz bottle thanks to secret Santa, pours a hazy golden/orange with a large off-white head. Subdued resinous hoppy aroma, with malt and wheat. Taste similar to aroma, faded.

Look: Nice. Good white foamy head. Smell: Strong piney hops. Getting a sense Iím going to be bowled-over. Taste: Tastes like it smells. Strong hops up front, little substance otherwise. Feel: Somewhat dry. Overall: Iíve tried many examples of this style, but the problem Iím having is consistency. Hop content varies so much from beer to beer within the style that itís hard to get a grip on what an American IPA is. Iíd probably put this with Dogfish Headís 90 Minute as a DIPA. Needs more character to be an AIPA, IMO.

On tap at Q39 in KC. Clear bronze appearance with a lacy white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, floral notes and toasted grain. Similar flavor, adding a moderate hop bitterness and light malt sweetness. Pretty average for an IPA, not bad overall.

Pint on tap. Clear copper with a lasting island of foam. Nose is resin, juicy orange and grapefruit, and a touch of caramel. Tastes the same with a touch of toast. Light-medium body has medium carbonation and a good balance.
