3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JUN 7, 2014 Pours clear gold with a couple inches of white head. Aroma is light pine, light citrus. Taste is earthy, resin, mild bitterness. Body is very thin, lacking in carbonation. Overall there are no off flavors or aromas, just nothing very noteworthy whatsoever. Decent at best.

On draft. Aromas of toffee and honey. Flavor of toffee, piney hops, toasted finish. Not sure how it’s summery, but it’s damn good.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Smell of fruit, orange peel. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of hops, spruce, grapefruit. Medium bitter. Semi-flat carbon. Mid-light body, slightly watery palate. Finishes with hops and a faint of spruce. A good basic IPA, but quite nonsurprising.

Bottle; poured a copperish color with a smallish white head. Aroma of pine, earth and citrus. Lighter bodied and quite drinkable. Hopped fairly well with citrus, earth and maybe some pine notes. Good beer

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. This is harsh and astringent. Grainy, husky, very little hops character for an IPA. The hops are grassy and herbal. Some alcohol heat in the finish.

3.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
I have had three awful beers today. This better redeem things. Appearance: beautiful! Huge fluffy finger-length head that lasts on and on and leaves lots of fluffy lacing. 5! If nothing else, I can at least admire this one’s look. Smell: a little harsh. Lemon zest, pine, sharp. Citrus. Taste: lemon zest, citrus, bitter. Bitterness blends in with the malts at the end for a great mix and powerful, memorable finish. The palate is also exquisite - mouthfeel is rich and complete without feeling overly full. Very nice. Thank goodness - I thought I made my worst beer run ever. Well, I still probably did, but at least it wasn’t a total loss. This is actually one of the better IPAs I’ve had, other than the aroma.

Pour is a clear amber with a average white head. Aroma is a nice hop with a little caramel malt. Flavor is again a decent hop with a little sticky malt in the backround. A decent IPA but also nothing extraordinary.
