On tap @ Free State. Black appearance with a tan head. Roasted dark malty nose and flavor. Nice coffee flavor.

Draft at the brewpub. Strong coffee in the nose, roasty and huge, with lighter notes of chocolate, citrus, hop spice and dark caramel. Dark brown/black color with a fine, lasting head and good lacing. Flavor is rather complex, roasty, sweet, coffeeish and toasty, well-hopped with bitter, floral, fruity and piney hops, along with lighter touches of espresso and raisin. Dries out substantially towards the finish. Palate is well-carbonated and leaving a mostly dry feel, body is medium-full. Very powerful coffee aspect, but good.

Growler shared by beastiefan2k. Pour is a black ruby with a two inch light tan head. Aroma is fresh coffee, roasty, some creamy cocoa sweetness. Taste is a bit less fresh coffee than the nose, a bit of roast, and the sweetness of the cream from the nose. Finish lingers with somewhat stale coffee. Palate is medium bodied, thins out a bit in the finish. Lingers with the coffee roast. Nice drinking stout, thanks for grabbing this and sharing it Eugene.
