Really nice nose, otherwise a bit disappointing. Nice amber pour with a nice white head. Some bitterness at the end. Pretty good overall!
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 boto (1661) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - FEB 20, 2013
Draught @ Brewery: This one pours a crystal clear copper color. There was about a finger of off-white lacing that left a good deal of lacing. Good nose. There was a good whiff of citrus hops. Some grassy notes also. It has a nice taste. Good malt body, along with a good hop bite. Very smooth and well balanced. A very good IPA.

12oz bottle poured into a Free State willibecker glass. I have had this a few times over the past year, both bottle and tap at the brewpub. This particular rating is for a bottle I just picked up. While it was fridged this problem was bottle 2-3 months ago, not terrible old. Its a clear amber beer, pours filter clear. Medium thick head that sticks around. Free State does a good job of clearing the malt and letting the hops shine. In this beer the bitterness is prominent in the aroma and the flavor. Its all hops, well done, nice beer but a bit industrial. I would like more character to the beer. But if you want hop juice its a good option.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 nsquishee (510) - Richfield, Minnesota, USA - FEB 9, 2013
Very sweet citrus flavor with lots of malting. Decently hopped, but very intense sweetness dominates. Not bad.

12oz bottle courtesy of RobertDale. Pours a clear copper color with a white head. Nose is some biscuity malt, some light fruit, some pine, and some citrus. Flavor starts with some biscuit, then goes to pine and some citrus with lingering pine in the finish. Medium in body and nice overall.

Pours a mostly translucent golden copper with a medium bubbly/creamy off white head. Aroma of fresh citrusy and floral hops with a touch of caramel malt. Great nose. Flavor of orangey hops meet Munich malt with a touch of caramel. Dry, yet great body. Excellent "winter" IPA.

12oz Bottle A - Pours clear amber with a small white head. Ok lacing. S - Resiny hops & sweet citrus. T - Resin, pine grapefruit, thought there would be a bigger malt backbone because of the color. M - Medium bodied, tingling carbonation, bitter finish. O - Nice solid IPA.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of jcnielsen. Thanks Jetson! Pours a clear, rust orange appearance with a light brown head. Super spicy, piney hoppy, fairly resiny, caramel malty, sticky aroma. Sticky resiny hoppy, big piney/grapefruity hoppy flavor with just a mild bitterness and light sweetness. Tasty brew!
