2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
I agree with voodoo below. i have had this beer on tap at the fridge in lancaster and it was very good. i got a six pack thinking it wold be the same, but the bottle almost exploded when opened and the carbonation was way out of wack. the yeast was really present and the hops tasted like tobacco. i hate to give this beer a mediocre rating - I would give it a 3.3 on tap, but in bottles it needs some quality control. tastes too much like a first-time home-brew.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Exceptional pale ale. Had it from a growler from Pinocchio' in Media PA. Hazy amber with lacing head. The aroma is full of pine and citrus with some sweet malt underneath. Same for the flavor. Very dry and refreshing.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle purchased at Pinocchioís Beer Garden in Media, Pennsylvania. The pour is hazed golden with a well formed one inch white head. The aroma is pungent, a bit of body odor, opens up to bitter grapefruit and citrus peel. A bit of earth and grass. The taste is the bitter grapefruit and grapefruit peel, along with a decent shot of pine. After the hop and bitter, turns to the grass and earth and dries out a ton in the finish. The palate is light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, and the bone dry earth mineral finish.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: AUG 17, 2013 From a bottled six pack......poured a half bottle as the head went crazy.....overcharged? sanitation? Old? Itís been 10 minutes and still canít get near it and still have the other half to pour........poured a hazy golden with a big but very loose head. Aroma is attractive pungent floral, citrus......Taste is grapefruit overwhelmingly with a way high overcarbed liquid with a medium mouthfeel.....slight bitter in the finish.....it could be an excellent American Pale but for the overcarbed dilemma, single hopping leaves it a bit hollow....if itís bottle conditioned itís done poorly, if not itís even worse, this thing is so badly overcarbed it may get scary if the bottles are warmed too high.....the pressures may be increasing over time and the glass is a pressure containment vessel......this could end badly.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy gold with orange hue. Humongous fluffy white head, ridiculously so. Nice little bite from the Citra to go along with its typical fruitiness. Earthy finish.

Draft at capones..billed as apa with prominent citrus notes highlight this aggressive pale ale..underlying tropical fruit favors..light body..leaves great surrounding lacing..full of flavor..quite refreshing and surprisingly better than expected..some orange and mango noticeable on end..pretty decent offering..

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the BNA 8 party at World Cafe Live Philadelphia
Lightly cloudy. Wicked bready grainy grassy nose. Hints of pine and citrus. Light bittersweet chocolate and a mineral bite. I had this twice and its only ok.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from House of 1,000 beers, Pittsburgh, PA. Pours a clear gold with a lasting tight white head. Nose is bready and toasty malts, some nutty fruit, pepper. Flavor is more of that nutty, bready malt, some grapefruit, solid bitterness. Finish displays nice crisp bitterness, some lighter caramel, a bit of almost roasty malt, honey and some citrus. I get a little bit of Citra out of this but truthfully itís more cascade-y.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; a TON of head though. A hazy orange with lots of white head and lively carbonation. Smells and tastes of grapefruit hops; fairly bitter for Citra. Average on the palate. Not the best showcasing of the hop.
