500ml bottle from Pinnochioís. Pours a bright pink color with no real head and some small, white bubbles around the edges. Aroma is some oak, cherry, light funk. Medium on the palate with light carbonation. Flavor is tart, sour cherry, oak, a little funk, with a dry, tart finish. Decent, but not as complex as a Belgian Lambic.

Draft. Hazy light pink color. Aroma of softly sour fruit. Taste is fruity with light sourness and medium body. Not bad.

Pours a hazy pink with no head. Aroma of funk, cherries, and oak. Taste is tart, funky, nothing is in your face but equally present. Really nice.

Fresh bottle. Pours bubblegum pink with nice little bubbles. Lots of carbonation in this one. I get some musty, earthy smells on the aroma and some mild cherry tones. Taste is sweet/sour cherry, funk, strawberry. Iíd love to put a bottle of this away for a year and see what happens Iíd imagine thatís the sweet spot. I still enjoyed it.

Pours a candy red color with a finger of so of gaseous bubbles. The nose has some nice funky cherry, tart, musty funk, hints of cherry pie filling. The palate follows the nose with nice refreshing cherry character and well balanced sweet fruit and funk. Musty barrel and basement funk adds nice complexity and the level of sourness is in your face but never too much. Well done.

Bottle. Pours pink watermelon. Nose/taste of cherry pie, sour tart cherry, acidy funk and watermelon. Lighter medium body. Acidic but not overpowering. Low carbonation. For some reason I get as much watermelon sourness as cherry. Not sure if this should fall into sour/wild or lambic-fruit, but it is more in line with lambics Iíve had. Solid.

Bottle from Mariís. Pours link a low-carbonation pink lemonade. No head, dead looking, pink grapefruit juice colored. The aroma is fairly lactic, some vinegar notes, slight tart cherry. The taste has a mildly tart cherry juice, finishes more bing cherry. Decent beer but really needs more carbonation.

Bottle. Pink pour with white bubbles. Tart aromas, some cherry tones. Light sweet and tart cherry tones, could use more carbonation.

Served on-tap at Alís of Hampden.

A - Pours ruby red with a small half finger tall white head, quickly dissipating down to a very light ring around the edge, leaving very little if any lace on the glass.

S - Smells of mild lactic sourness, bit of cherry tartness, light barnyard funk, dash of basement must and some base bready pale malt.

T - Starts off with a nice yogurty lactic sour kick quickly being joined by the sour cherries, must, barn funk and finally the doughy malt. Finish has a dash of tartness but mostly chewy malt, lingering long after the finish.

M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Tart feel initially going a little chewy toward the end of each sip.

O - A decent enough "lambic." Cherries and funk work pretty well together but it doesnít have that classic finish, to doughy. I wouldnít turn down another.

brilliant red with puffy white head, dies quick. tons of cherry leather in nose, low acid and high minerality from co2. Foamy cherry front, heavy co2 bitterness, tons of wheat in the foamy finish.
