3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap. Pours a clear dark amber body with a one inch frothy off-white head that faded to a thin covering. The nose is pretty standard, some dry toasted and slightly husky maltiness with some light floral hops. Flavor follows pretty well in step, maybe a touch heavier on the hops than the average Irish Ale, but not by a whole lot. A touch more sweetness than I expect for the style, but pretty easy drinking. Lighter bodied with soft fizzy carbonation, short finish. Pretty decent, but not one to get excited about.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at Craft. Pours turbid ruby coppery, more like rusty mud, with a finger of off-white head. Nose is malt, hops, vinous fruit. Tastes very hoppy, crisply assertive, with a vienna-ish malt flavor and some vinous fruity yeasty notes. Gets hoppier as it warms.
