A great fruit version of the wheat style. No fake flavors. Real fresh sliced mango and citrus in here. Hazy and straw colored. Refreshing and worth it, but the real fruit does make it a bit sugary. Tap

Draft at brewfest. Pours golden with white head. Small fruit notes on the nose. A bit of mango on the tongue. Finished clean. Slight twist on a solid starter beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle from Giant Eagle in Pittsburgh. What a bad combo of ingredients and how badly put together in this concoction. I’ll pass the next time.

Draft at Woodys. Poured a clear thinner rusty copper with a smaller white head. Aroma is fruity, mango and toast, grains and some toast. Flavor is mango, fruit skins, grains, dry sugar, apricot. Body is watery and full strong carbonation. Not bad for a fruit beer.

10oz glass at Social 37. Labeled Free Will Mango Wheat. Pours a clear golden yellow color with a small foamy white head. Aroma of sweet grain, grass, wheat malt, and artificial mango. Taste mimics the nose.

Aroma was a bit funky imo. I got mango and wheat but didn’t come off fresh. Palate was extremely flat and boring. Very light. Flavor is not very complex. Wheat with nice mango coming through on back end. On a hot summer day this wouldn’t be bad. Just better options out there.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Pours clear, golden, minimal white head, OK carbonation. Wheat and fruit are predominant on the nose, but there are also some hints of hops and malts. Taste is sweet and fruity, some hop notes shine through. Very decent, easy to drink and quite enjoyable.

Pours deeper gold with a medium white head out of the bottle. Aroma is mango and cereal. Taste is sweet with faint trace of citrus. For some reason this beer missed the mark on all levels and I was quite surprised as everything else by Free Will has been good.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass. The appearance was a glossy golden orange with streams of carbonation rising to feed a rapidly dieing one finger white foamy head that barely left any lacing. The smell had a sharp spunky dried mango with a slight grassiness underneath. The taste was mainly fruity sweet with a decent wheat base to enliven. A dry wheaty aftertaste rolled into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. The carbonation was there, somewhat spritzy. Overall, this was a pretty good American Pale Wheat ale, though pretty dry all around, I’d say it wasn’t as refreshing as the brewery claims it to be. Still, the flavors meshed well, so I could see myself having again on other occasions.
