3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Nose bursting with fresh fruit, honeydew melon, muskmelon, cantaloupe, mango, peach, grapefruit, delicious dough. Clear orange body with a large rocky and lacing beige head. Taste is sweet with plenty of resin, light body just about the right level of thickness, levels off on the tropical fruit and finds a nice medium with pine and generic planed wood. No sign of alcohol. Very fresh and juicy, enough to make me want to take it slow, but a good example of the emergent modern IPA.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Thanksgiving day lunchtime warm up, bottle split at Christine and Daves which I picked up at Wegmans Downington, 28/11/13.
Hazed orange amber with a mahoosive off white head.
Nose is bitter orange, light herbals, straw, faint hops, light chemical strains.
Taste comprises orange pith, grassy, light sugars, mandarin, citrics, vague tropical fruit notes.
Medium bodied, prickly carbonation, dry grassy bitterness in the finish.
So so IPA not one Iíd hit again, in fact the same goes for this brewery, 3 medicore numbers. I should have learned my lesson from this and the pale stout before expending $22 on their corked and caged sour/wild effort !

Pours a cloudy orange. Aroma of fruits and a bit of off flavor released by the head. Taste of pine and citrus and subtle melon fruit.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
No bottling information.
Appearance: The body is hazy with an amber hue with a short white head that quickly dissipates into a light coating and a foamy ring.
Aroma: The aroma has a musky piney sort of marijuana aroma that reminds me of Simcoe hops. The description says melons, I sort of get that, but I wouldnít have come to the conclusion had I not read the description. Perhaps some cantaloupe rind. The aroma has good strength, but nothing is very prominent.
Taste: The flavor is a bit murky on the intro, a blend of flavors where nothing stands out. The mid-taste shows some caramel malt sweetness with a mild bitterness, perhaps grapefruit and tangerine. The finish is semi-dry and lingers for a moment with floral characteristics.
Palate: Full bodied, mild carbonation.
Overall: I donít really care for this IPA. Itís not bad and I wouldnít guess that itís 7.3%, but I donít get the flavors that are suggested from the description, perhaps light honeydew, but on the whole the flavors are very muddled.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden orange body, medium sized off white head, spotty lacing. Nose shows some tropical fruits, citrus and cantaloupe. A tad medicinal and boozy. Flavor cleans up a bit. Medium to light bodied, medium carbonation, moderate bitterness.

Tap. Very nice copper, orange color. Thick white head, nice nose with traces of citrus and hops. I enjoyed this ipa and would not mind a growler. I would get this beer again.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
very good IPA but also unbalanced. Plenty of hops from start to finish but a very thin palate. Worth a try for sure, but I wonít go back for seconds.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: OCT 19, 2013 12 oz bottle, hazy orange pour with thick egg shell head, some lacing, initial smell gives off a touch of alcohol, tropical hop smell pineapple with some tangerine citrus, a little bread malt, texture is on the lighter side, not much carbonation therefore a watered down syrup, more nectar than bitterness, a good surprise, slightly expensive for a local IPA but worth trying
