Helles pale lager. Hopped with a combination of British First Gold and Hallertau Perle, Freedom Four has an initial sweetness that slides into a hoppy bitter finish. Mid-weight body and great smoothness ensure it’s easy-drinking, while lively natural carbonation refreshes through to a crisp finish.
Freedom Four is available in 50 litre kegs, along with a range of dispense options, point of sale material and glassware.

Wonderful example of a Helles lager, top amount of DMS and nicely carbonated

Bottle from the Brewery. Golden colour, decent sized white head. Good retention. Aroma of lager malt and some corn. Tastes of lager malt, more malts, wheat, light grass too. Very watery though, not great.

Keg @ Masons Arms, Todmorden. Yellow-blonde with a small bubbly head. Lots of carbonation and fizz on the palate but poor taste and texture with a light malt nose being its best characteristic.

Medium shiny white head. Clear yellow body with carbonation. Faint mealy rubbery aroma. Dry-sweet mealy rubbery herbal taste with strawy notes. Mid-to-light body. Mild mouthfeel. Dryish mealy fainty fruity aftertaste with herbal notes. It’s not bad, but a bit watery and boring. (0.284l draft at the Elgin, Maida Vale, London.)

Draft. Plain golden pour. Floral hop aroma, some bread and wheat. Very clean and easy drinking palate - quite a refreshing lager option. Nothing particularly special taste-wise, simple hop-barley combo, but serves its purpose well.

Keg @ The Exchange, Leicester. Quite nice for a bog standard lager. Rather have this than, say, a becks vier. Came in a nice glass. Sweet to start then quite bready to finish. Middling to fair really, but not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
