Keg at The Firefly, Worcester with mum & Loz 19.05.12 Gold with white head and a busy carbonation. Lovely lager with a fuller taste than many admittedly corny but even so ever so nice. Refreshing with a nice sweetness, most enjoyable. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

On keg at Meltons too. Pours a light golden colour with a decent white head. Aroma of bready yeast and caramel. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation. A clean tasting lager.

Pint at Cherry Reds in Kings Heath. Goes down easily but lacks depth. Boring but not unpleasant

Keg at Jekyll and Hyde, Birmingham. Very fizzy lager, which is rather artifiically. Also very dry with a real plywood cheese biscuit finish. Not a cup of tea with me.

Keg at The Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Pale straw with fizzed head. Pretty standard kegged lager, the flavour is dominated by the gas, malty, thin, slightly sweetish.

Keg, The George and Dragon, Stoke Golding. Smells a bit like a rotting beachmat. Or a cowpat. Bit of herbal hop. Not good. Much better in the flavour department, with a good hit of pilsy bitterness, bread stick and honey, lingering biscuit. Bright, fizzing gold with a low clinging head. Ends up a very decent lager.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 kwik-lime (654) - London, ENGLAND - APR 2, 2011
Reasonably sweet and quite pleasant on first taste but a bit of a corny finish. Quite smooth. Not that impressed overall.
