Keg at the Windsor Castle during the RateBeer Black Country Bus Bash. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a foamy white head. Clean stuff with cereal malts and lightly tangy citrus. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp finish with further cereal, dried grains and mild lemon rind bitterness. Decent.

Keg @ The Windsor Castle during the RB Black Country Bash. Cheers to Ian for forcing this on me! The pour’s gold with a small head. The nose is cereal, honey. A bit of golden apple. Quite sweet tasting. More apple, pear. Aggressive carb. Overall, pretty meh-inducing.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at the Windsor Castle, Lye. Poured a clear light yellow colour with a thin white head. The aroma is hoppy and resinous. The flavour is weak bitter acidic resinous. As far as lagers go this is somewhat different and rather drinkable.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is maize, some earth, grass, grains and mild floral notes as well. Flavour is quite similar with some mild rubbery and citrusy notes as well. Not that good, and actually feels a bit unclean as for the rubbery notes. Also being quite watery.
