Cask, handpump at The Firefly, Worcester, 17.09.11 Pours almost black in colour with a ruby glint towards the bottom. Easy drinking and quite light in the mouth, light roasty, it simple not harsh, and not too bad at all. A6 A3 T7 P3 Ov14 3.3

Dark brown with thin tan head that collapses to lacing. not much by way of aroma, thin bodied with a touch of milk chocolate and roast coffee in finish.Quite sour for a stout. Disappointing

Hand pulled. Black with rich ruby highlight. Thin tan head. Rich biscuity stout, with little nose. Some fruitiness and a nice dry bitter finish. Not quite "stout" enough, but nice and light.

Keg at Jekyll and Hyde, Birmingham. Dark brown, with 1cm of white head. Taste is uncomplicated and smooth with traces of Nescafe on the finish. Pleasant, but lacks flavour.

Clear medium to dark brown color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark roasted, coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100730]
