16 oz plastic glass draft at the Morgan Creek Grill on Isle of Palms, South Carolina. The pour is a hazed murky orange golden with a small white head. The aroma is citrus, light herbal and general Saison yeast. The taste is herbal, floral, clean with Saison yeast carrying the finish. The palate is medium to light bodied with soft carbonation and a floral herbal finish. Nice one.

Draft at the brewery The ale poured a clear amber with an off white head and lacing. The aroma of yeast and some light spices greets you. The taste was light as well with some Belgian yeast at the finish. The ale had a light body with average carbonation.

On tap @ The Griffon. Murky yellowish-orange colored beer with a white head that dissipates quickly. Sort of grassy and slightly vegetal aroma and flavor. Like celery salt, straw, and some crackers. A little bit of citrus peel and sweet brown sugar. Light estery and spice qualities, but nothing too intense. Maybe a little on the yeasty side, too. Eh.

750 bottle claiming 6.3% and certified organic. an effervescent orange beer with a small white head. banana belgian phenolic yeast strain aroma. medium light body and not as sparkling as it appears. flavor has some belgian yeast character but has a slight astringency.

Draft (Craftsmen, Charleston SC, May 2015). Head is fully diminishing. Body is medium to dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain), with notes of grains of paradise, clove, and cardamom. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, soft/flat carbonation. There’s not much farmhouse-like about this, it’s basically a spice bomb (both in aroma and in the type of bitterness). Light and watery. Not much fun.
