Dark golden coloured. Fruity aroma. Fruity and rather hoppy flavour with a bitter finish.

Co-op version. Amber/gold pour with a white head. Raisin, toffee and caramel aroma. Quite a dark fruit feel in the flavour. Not too bad.

Plenty of hops in this one. Strong flavour of orange. Thick mouthfeel. Prolonged bitterness. A favourite of mine.

0.5l bottle as ’Freeminer’s Gold Miner, Bottled Conditioned" from the Co-Op (in the Forest of Dean). Robust golden ale, nice balance of strong drying dark malts and the tart-fruit hopping. Bittering all around is nice, though balanced with malt bill. Strong but refreshing. Wish I could try this very fresh or on cask.

Hazy blond colour. Lightly hoppy and citrusy aroma. The taste is a bit phenolic and unpleasant. Hint of hop bitterness in the finish.

Bottle conditioned. Golden body. Loose white head with poor retention. Red fruit, spicy. Bitter. Bitter finish.

Good sweet aroma, an average tasting ale, but feels very dry in the palate.

Bottle. Tried as Goldminer. Golden with a clear apprarance and a small head.Some maltiness and a bitter finnish. Pleasant and easy to drink.

Bottle (50 cl) from a local store in Kensington, London. Clear deep golden, small white head. Earthy and slightly bisquity malt aroma with some floral hops. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Fairly dry, low to medium bitterness.

Bottled, as Freeminer Gold Miner. Hazy deep golden, small head. Fruity hay aroma. Mid sweet with chewy bready malt and medium body. Some spicy bitterness,. Rather shallow.
