2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 duff (5483) - St, Margarets, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 16, 2004
Bottle. Slight smelly earthy aroma and sappy hops, which was promising. Unfortunately this had very empty mouthfeel, the start hinted at being a solid brew, but the flavour dissapeared straight away. Was really dissapointed, especially it being from one of my favourite English brewers.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Jeppe (2633) - Ølbutikken, DENMARK - SEP 14, 2004
My notes from the rating of this beer are rather illegible beeing the last beer of a tasting session with about 40 beers in total..... Fine off-white head, orange body. Yeast, fruit and orange aroma. Rather thin flavor of hops and fruit with a harsh finish. Nothing special.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Mads Langtved (2246) - Copenhagen K, DENMARK - AUG 1, 2004
Orange. Sour and bitter. Rye taste. A pretty average bitter. Nothing special about it. Not enough hoppy taste in spite of the bitterness.
