Ethereal (2399) - Los Angeles, USA - JAN 22, 2008
Cask at the White Horse, Parson’s Green, 18th Jan 08. I’m really pleased to be among the first to get my tastebuds round this. Ruby brown with a short-lived whitish head. Robust aroma of caramel, malt and dark fruits. The flavour is even better - vinuous, malty with a many fruit notes competing for your attention. Plums and raisins stand out. Smooth palate with a good long aftertaste. This is an excellent strong ale and well worth a trip to sample!
