Feb 2, 2009 Growler from RSVP.
Pours a dark brown almost black with a foamy tan head. Aroma of roasted dark malt, chocolate malt, and coffee. Flavors are pretty nice, slightly watery, but sweet malt and chocolate coffee dominates. It’s a very well made porter, could use a little more oomph in the malt dept, but then again i’m not sure it would change it for the better.

Jun 28, 2008 Growler 08’.
Pours a deep brownish moving towards black. Chocolate comes out in the mid palate and the malts are well balanced to provide stout sweetness. I think this beer could use a bit more hopping in the finish. The body was medium and the nose was chocolate and faint malt. Not bad.

Feb 29, 2008 this was a great beer!!!! a little fizzy - but GREAT - freprot brewing Company has always been one of my favorite companies - they always make great tasteing beers. You can taste the malts in this as they must have used alot of chocolate malts to beef up the flavor. clean poring and nice and dark. tastes better as it cools from the fridge.
