COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The infamous 3Tail bat flies out into the night to steal secretive sips from the glasses of unsuspecting patio patrons. We have brewed this rich, golden ale as an offering to this tempestuous beast of the evening in the hopes that his thirst will be sated. The honey-like character of 100% pils malt and the subtle fruit and spice of an ancient Belgian yeast strain bring together flavors all mammals--flying and earth-bound--can enjoy! OG: 1.086/20.8P, FG: 1.012/3.0P, ABV: 9.9, ABW: 7.8, IBU: 28, Hops: US Perle, Tettnang Tettnanger

Clear golden in color with a ring of white head. Aroma is sweet, winey (white grape) alcohol tones with a bit of a spice note in the end...the belgian yeast is strong. An excellent Belgian tripel.

On tap at RealTail damnit!! Poured a clear, light yellow body with a nice ivory head that left good lacing. Aromas of yeast, lightly sweet, some floral hops. Flavors of light to medium sweetness, some spiciness, yeasty and medium bitter finish. Lively carbonation and a medium mouthfeel. Very drinkable.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours a cloudy deep gold/light amber with off-white head. Aroma of lively citrus, aged fruit, horseblanket. Flavor doesn’t stray far with added notes of must, malt, some sweetness with a very pleasant light bitter at the end....Mouth feel is medium body with light fizzy carbonation. Overall, not a bad brew at all, I enjoyed!

Growler thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a hazy golden body and a minimal white head. Aroma of grain, caramel, gourd, toffee, candi sugar and light spice. A small hint of corn. Taste is big and boozy, candi sugar, caramel and belgian esters. Vanilla, tortilla (corn again...not sure where from) and light banana esters. Syrupy yet decent attenuation. Good, beer. Heat is there, but well hidden for its capaciousness (not entirely sure that that adjective has been used to describe a beer quality, but it seems apt).

(Growler thanks to bu11zeye) clear gold-orange, with oily bubbles on top. Nose of sweet brown sugar, mild alcohol, and Belgian yeast. Taste of alcohol, sweet, grainy, candi sugar, banana and spices with some fruity lingering on the palate. Slightly syrupy/oily body with a nice sweet finish. For the ABV this is very drinkable.
