3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a hazy mid yellow body with a thin white cap that is leaving some spotty lace. Aromas and flavors of bready malts, a bit thin on the flavor and palate. Overall it’s decent enough.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
San Antonio, Tx - Total Wine & More - 12 oz can. Hazy, medium golden pour, snow white head. Aroma has some light yeasty accents, some wort-like notes. Flavor is classic Helles with some nice doughy cake mix accents, some salt water taffy sweetness, a touch of vanilla. Mouthfeel has a decent crispness to it. Fairly decent.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy golden with a pleasant foamy sticky white head. The nose is quite cracker-lagerish with that blonde helles cereal grain tone. Smooth and crisp flavor, full of what blonde, light wheaty and cerealish helles malt flavor, in spades. Very light noble bitterness just to balance. Very quaffable and clean and great.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can. Pours a hazy gold with a high, mixed-grained, lazy, white head. Nose is tropical fruit, honey, baking bread, yeast, and soft hop notes. Not terribly sweet; a little white pepper, a little more tropical fruit, relatively soft and muted, not much hops. Finish is long and cooling. Very mild, almost too much so.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours pale yellow. Cloudy. White foam head. Smells like corn. Tastes like it too. The only redeeming quality are the earthy undertones.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Rated based on notes taken 20 May 2012 -- I think this beer is great. Awesome malt with some complexity in there to make it that much better.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Lively carbonation powers a pleasant bouquet of aromas from the pour. The appearance is pleasant, a true gold body with a creamy head. The palate is right for the style and the hop character is a complimentary herbal but earthy note. This is the most delicious beer I have tasted from Freetail.
