Beerenberger (800) - Fischer, Texas, USA - FEB 3, 2013

Roasted malts and peppers comprise the aroma. Pours an opaque blackish brown with a tan ring and no lacing. The taste is much like the nose. Malts up front with a pleasing smooth hot pepper finish. Medium body with soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel. Overall, while I wouldn’t want more than one of these at a time, this was a very satisfying "hot" porter.
