COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Another great part about fall, is that the new hop harvest is in, which is the only time of year that wet, fresh, whole hops are available to us. This year’s Fresh Hop brew is Fresh Hop the Truck, a pale ale brewed with Citra hops picked straight off the vine and overnight shipped to us.

(Growler) hazy amber with soapy white bubbles. Nose of crackers, hop resins, citrus, and bready. Taste of pine, cracker, dough, wish there was more citrus present. Oily palate that’s also quite resinous.

Pours clear honey Orange yellow, slightly sweet smell. Taste is mostly average pale ale but still well done, one of the better brews by freetail. Starts malty but very quickly turns to a light bittering beer both from grain and hop with herb spices. Finishes pretty dry with a better than average finish. Nice.
