Almost black. A spicy aroma. Lacey head. Some banana flavor like a hefe. A slight metallic note puts a big crimp on the finish.

Growler thanks to jkwalking05 and travita. Pours a brown with red hues and beige head. Aroma of light nuttiness, some malt, a bit of light funk. Flavor is the same with added dark fruit. Mouth feel is medium body with fizzy carbonation. Overall, it’s ok.

On tap at Freetail. The look is blackish in color a dark saison indeed. Decent beige colored head. The smell is cocoa, fruits, yeast, and spices. The taste is sweet, fruits, cocoa, spices, and good.

The beer pours dark brown with an off-white head. The aroma is caramel and chocolate malts. The flavor is coffee, chocolate, caramel, spices and toffee. Thin-medium mouthfeel and low carbonation.
