- pours apricot yellow with no head. S - you can tell this is an ananke derivative. That chemical tone. Honey, canned peaches, pineapple juice, lemon juice and acetic acid. Notes of candied sugar. M - sweet as dry. Low carb. Nice amount of sour. T - follows the nose with lots of peach and canned pineapple. Honey and that freetail Sour goodness. O - another nice freetail sour.

On tap at the brewpub during RBWG 2012. Slightly hazy yellow with a white head. Tart fruit and peaches throughout. Finished dry. Nice.

Golden pour with a white head. The aroma is full of peaches with some biscuit malt thrown in. The flavor is similar. I get some juicy, tart peaches and some biscuit malt. There is also a hint of oak. The tartness is fairly light but is present and adds something to the beer. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Tap at brewpub-pours clear yellow very lite with no head. nose is sour banyard kind of funk, lite vinegar-very nice! lots of lemon like sourness, kind of like a lemonhead candy. lite bitterness on the finish and a very nice sour note with alot of wood alongside it. This is almost a lambic if you ask me, just needs a bit more funky aspects. well done, but not the best sour i had in the sampler.

Light peach. Aroma - smells awful; funky and unplaceable aroma. Taste - great! Beautiful mild fruit big sour yet very smooth. Overall, nice tasting sour.

Bottle shared at Dunt’s Tasting (Chicago, IL). Pours a nice hazy golden hue, gentle bubbly carbonation, frothy whitish head dies to a decent ring, laces ok. Aromas are gentle peach, crisp cereal and bready malts. A touch of straw, gentle yeastiness and oak. Mellow peach and lactic acidity. Nose comes on a bit harder as it settles in. Initial is a bit tart, fruity, the wit base certainly shows some life. A bit of coriander, citrus and bready malt. Touches of lactic acidity meet sweet and tart peaches, peach juice, oak and gentle bready malt. Flavors and sour element comes together better into the backend. A bit more lactic and oak presence, the base comes more in line. A bit more bitey sourness and peach as we really get there, distinct bready and cereal malts. Nice at times, a firm sourness but also a lot of base and Wit feel at others. A nice beer, better than that Salado we opened a few months back but still a bit young. Solid.

Tap @ Freetail brewpub in San Antonio .. . pours a deep amber .. really good foam .. . light summer fruit, apricot, and mild tartness .. . mild bitterness .. . pretty good but needs for fruit .. . . No listening. You hear me?

Batch 2, so this is relatively fresh. Hazy gold-straw, somewhat transparent with a good amount of silky white lace.

Aroma is off: super lactic, soured yeast, roast beef (srsly). Improves as it warms, but seriously some prime rib in there when chilled.

Canned peach juice. Mild tartness, lacks the depth and intensity of Woodicus. Honestly totally unlike the base, which I strongly prefer. B1 may have been better, but this isn't anything to write home about right now. No homerism here.

I do expect this to change significantly with time, though, and hopefully for the better.
