Aroma of sour cherries. A dark brown pour with mostly diminishing off-white head. The taste is medium sour - sour cherries, port wine notes. Light bodied with minimal carbonation. Crisp. Overall, enjoyable.

Dark and barrely; dates and other dark fruits blend with a strong port wine kick. Healthy amount of sourness before finishing oaky and dry. Another tasty sour from Freetail.

22 ounce bottle thanks to Errl. Pours a darker copper with no head of foam. The aroma is sour and tannic with big vanilla and oak notes coming through. Not hugely sour, but there is a slight tartness here.

Bottle @ Armin’s apartment, courtesy of skycracksopen. Thanks Dave! Pours a hazy reddish brown appearance with a light brown head. Acetic, black cherry, funky, lightly vinous, citrusy aroma. Oaky, fairly tart, black cherry, light caramel, woody flavor. Not to fucken hard to drink.

22 oz. brown bottle purchased at the brewpub. Poured into a tulip. It looks dark brown as it pours and almost black in the glass. Aroma has cherries(a lot), a little lemon, and some vinegar but not much. A really good aroma. The taste is strongly acidic in a vinegar sort of way, cherries, and what seems like a wine barrel character. An acetic forward sour. It almost burns at the back of the throat. The taste is a definite dropdown from the aroma. Not really my cup of tea or I mean glass of beer

poured deep brown with minimal head. smell and flavor of sour malt, lemon peel, cabernet sauvignon, and wine barrel. Nose had a hint of instant hot chocolate powder. Not my favorite by freetail, wouldnt seek this one out again

Thanks, Geist. Nose is pretty light but is mostly oak and some oxidized malt. Flavor has some dark fruit character along with some astringency. Mild acid.

murky amber pour, thinnest cream ring head. Nose is stinging acetic with manure, wet earth, and mushroom. Flavor is old and burnt, earthy and musty across the mid, sweetness throughout especially finish, light caramel and more green sourness. Sticky, grainy body.
