COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The initial release of our Global Warming series of serious saisons, Premature Spring is upon us (didn’t that groundhog see his shadow?) This effervescent , farmhouse ale is brewed using Youngblood’s wild honey from Pearsall, TX. You can almost taste the moment when spring arrives on your palette as this beer bursts with flavors of wild huajillo, fragrant citrus and spice. Look for small-batch offerings on tap flavored with herbs from our spring garden! OG: 1.060/14.8 P, FG: 1.015/3.7 P, ABV: 6.1%, ABW: 4.8%, IBU: 18, Hops: Tettnanger

Bright cloudy yellow. No head and very cold. Nice spicy, horseblanket, funky nose. Taste is nice mild funk and spices that does not overwhelm the senses. Very drinkable and well done. Loses a bit when it warms.

Sample at the brewpub with the club on April 24, 2009. Thin head, very foggy, light yellow color. Great, sweet, refreshing aroma. Tart, citrus flavor. Very refreshing. Not bad, but a slight taste of... for some reason I’m thinking BO. Maybe it’s the honey. Very good...
