(Draught) Pours a clear pale pink body with a medium off-white/cream head. Aroma of raspberry jam, wood, horse blanket, and subtle leather notes. Flavor of raspberry, pedio, white grapes, and lacto with a moderately dry wood finish.

bottle. lightly hazed brick red body with a shallow film of a white head and no lasting retention. medium to heavy oak with strong acetobacter and lactic acid aroma and flavor; mild to medium dryness and tart raspberry pulp flavoring with a strongly salivating acidity and a vitamin-like, chalky yeast residue left in the finish. overall it’s pretty well rounded, very quenching and satisfying washing of the tongue with the acid. nicely done. thanks Alan.

Bottle at jtclockwork’s place for a tasting. Pours a hazed ruby garnet with a thin white head. Big fat raspberries and soft acidic funk on the nose. Medium bodied, lots of musky raspberries, tart acid and subtle sweetness. Amazingly balanced, soft raspberry, long gentle acid. Lovely.

Bottle from Tim; shared by me at tasting at my house. Pours raspberry red. Nose and taste of raspberry -seeds and all-, lactose, milk acid, oak and light vinous notes. Well balanced moderate tartness. Dryish finish. Well done.

(draught) bright red, ring of white bubbles. Nose of fresh raspberry purée, tart, nice barrel notes, raspberry seeds, light funk, smells great. Taste of fresh raspberry, light chewable vitamin, lactic acid, deliciously refreshing.

had on tap and later from bottle .. . pours a ruby red .. . mild foam .. . raspberries, tart frozen strawberries, tart berry skin, and bobby’s fruit pie .. . full mouth, this is one of freetails best .. . . word to your mother! .. who is a very nice lady, give her my regards!!

Fairly tart. Decent sourness. Zippy crisp fruity. I really like this one. 650 ml bottle.

22 oz bottle courtesy of Chad. Thanks, dude! Shared with the Destihl Crew. Pours a richly berry hued gentle hazed body. Frothy pink head dies to a loose film, well carbonated body with some rich crimson glow and hues. Aromas offer white wine, fuzzy white peach and tangerine, white grape and melon. Gentle raspberry fruit and skin, some funky brett, lactic acid, and gentle sweetness. Good funk, richer sour fruit element and rich barrel nose. Initial is a bit sour, raspberry elements really sour it front and center, good sourness, lemons and grapefruit, gentle white grape, melon. Firm brett, well carbonated. Coriander and orange peel from the base, gentle tartness and funk hit the backend and dry out the palate. Finish is tart, raspberry and lemon, white grape, lactic acid. Dry, a bit bretty, nice carbonation. Rich fruity nose and oak, gentle spice. Great nose, nice sour light body. Really nice, a more firm sourness, raspberry skin and good sourness, smaller body, vibrant sour flavors without getting acedic in any sort of the nature. Tasty and fun offering that really works well. More complex, some more body and further along than the regular Ananke I had last year which was a bit thin and lacking complexity outside of the nose. Big improvement.

Bottle: Poured a clear pink reddish color ale with a large foamy head with some average retention and some lacing. Aroma of fresh wild raspberry with some tart notes and light acidic edge is really nice. Taste is a super nice mix between some fresh raspberry with limited amount of sweetness but just enough to cut through some of the acidic notes with some tart and light oak notes also well discernable. Body is about average with good carbonation. Really well brewed with perfect addition of raspberry and some vinous notes well balanced.

On draft for GABF 2012. Pours a hazy pink-yellow with a white head. Nose is tart raspberries, some oak, light funk, and some vinous tartness. Flavor is similar with a burst of berries in a house of vinegar, sour, tart fruit, vinous qualities, and bits of oak. Light to medium in body and a nice sour overall.
