Bottle generously shared by a member of the Tampa crew. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is big earthy sour, dog food (?), and some slight cherry. Flavor has a funk, earthy sourness, and cherries. I loved Anake, but something is different about this one.

A - pours a nice apricot with no head. S - whew this swells sour! Honey, sour cherries, moldy wood, dried apricot and lemon juice. M - light and very sour. Medium palate once you get through the sour. Dry slightly sticky end. T - so very damn sour upfront. Aggressively sour. But it mellows a bit after a while. Sour cherries and dried apricot right up front. Why so apricoty? Cheesy, musty moldy wood. Lemon juice and brown sugar. Light vinegar. O - actually a nice kriek. Sour, damn sour, but really is nice it you let it breath and warm up a little. 3.8

bottle shared by cparles, thanks! pours hazy pale yellow, pink tint, with a small white cap, little retention and no lacing. cheesy, woodsy bourbony lambic, obvious cherries - small tart ones, citric/lactic/acetic, hint of vanilla and other spices. low carbonation - lacking, light body - oily, herbal-grassy and puckering citric finish. much enjoy their lambic base though.

Bottle (22 oz). Shared by cparles, thanks Chris! Slightly hazy golden with reddish reflects, a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is mostly of cherries with a good amount of acid, cereals and light yogurt. Taste is moderately to heavily sour with cherries, acidic presence, yogurt and a decent malt backbone. Medium body. Moderate/medium carbonation. Dry finish. Mouth puckering. A tad straighforward and probably to sour for those who prefer soft/gentle sourness. I liked it a lot, even if I don’t give a very high score because of lack of balance.
