Blonde-copper in color. Piney citrus hop aroma and taste...nice aggressive hop character.

Tap at brewpub. Dark gold and a bit hazy. Mild nose that is more malty than hoppy. Taste is dominated by the maltiness with the hops adding a nice background profile. A bit of a different take on an ipa but this one works fairly well.

A deeper copper color than the original. Aroma is more sweet than hoppy or floral or citrus. Flavor is fighting for malt or hops to dominate. This is a beer in conflict. Finish is barley malt sweet.

FIRST TO RATE! On tap at Freetail Brewpub SA(9Jan11)pours dark orange with a medium light tan head. Aroma is nutty with almond and pistachio husk and strong pine hop notes. Flavor is rich malt, toast, crackers, strong resinous hop finish. Piny and dank. Nice.
