COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
So stood President John F. Kennedy at the steps of the Rathaus Schöneberg, preparing to deliver what would become his iconic speech in front of 450,000 free citizens of West Berlin. "Today, in the world of freedom, the proudest boast is Ich bin ein Berliner!" A half-century later, our country embroiled in bitter political debate over the most trivial of ideals, we present this wood-aged Berliner Weisse as a tribute to the world of Freedom and an olive branch of collaboration to all those who can’t seem to get along. For those who wish to drink it, "Lass’ sie nach San Antonio kommen" – Let them come to San Antonio! Ingredients: Pilsen malt, malted wheat; traditional German hops; top-fermenting yeast; lactobacillus; natural, limestone-filtered, Edwards Aquifer H2O; jelly-filled donuts.

Bottle thanks to Jstax ! Pours a hazy pale yellow color with a finger of fizz. On the nose its spot on berliner... tart lemon, round cheerio malts and a little dusty barrel funk. The palate follows the nose with great refreshing notes of lime, lemony funk, a little yogurt acidity and some lingering wood notes. Nice beer.

Bomber cortesy of Bu11zeye (thanks Markus!) poured a cloudy pale yellow with a small lingering white head. Aromas of wheat, yeast, barnyard funk, lemon zest, light vanilla and a hint of oak. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of wheat, yeast, lemon zest and barnyard funk with a crisp dry tart lingering lemon finish.

Pours a pale, hazy straw color with a thin white head of foam. Smells funky and wheaty. Mild tartness with a dry, wheaty finish. Pretty good Berliner in my book.

murky light gold, thin white ring with oily top. Sulfuric grain nose, light lactic and egg, really must. Flavor shows more grain, lemonade spritz, lightly thin in the finish, watery, could use more grain, lactic levels higher, carbonation appropriate, pleasant.

Bottle thanks to Huhzubendah. Poured a yellow color. I believe many of us agreed that this one smelled a little strange and funky, and perhaps not in the good way. However, the flavor was a lot better, some tart puckering sour notes in here.

Bottle. Hazy pale yellow color, scant white edge head. Aroma of feet with subtle armpits and a bit of salty fruit. Taste is softly sour lemon. Not bad.
