Bottle 0,5l. As Freibergisch Bockbier 6,7 ABV. Might be its own Bock beer. Pours dark brown clear with off-white cream head. Aroma licorice, malts, grass, plums. Plate is soft smooth and smoothly carbonated. Taste is sweet malty with fruity land licorice notes. Some balanced dryness in there. Overall balanced and smooth Bock beer. Very nice.

Good aroma of caramel malt rises gently through the coarse compact foam in this bock by pouring. The taste is dark chocolate and roasted malt with ample taste of dark caramel. Gentle and pleasant hop bitterness keeps fine balance between sweet and bitter, and it is a wonderful bock as only the Germans can brew this beer style. Strong, tasteful and delicate.

Quite an interesting bier. I noticed the aroma first, which was quite good. I also enjoyed the taste. Solid beer.

Bottle. Clear nice dark-brown color, thin white head, which fades fast. Aroma is mainly malty, hint of chocolate. Taste is decent sweet at the beginning, but goes over to a bitter-alcoholic note. Aftertaste is short and malty, but shaped by the alcoholic-bitterness. Light to drink, not too sticky sweet and a noticeable Bockbier.

Clear nut brown, redish with off white foam head, nice lacing. Aroma is caramel dominated. Taste is good dark bock beer, perfect match with meal ordered. Short aftertaste. (Dresden 201312)

Nett.

Pours out of the bottle in q deep dark brown colour with low head and medium to smooth body. Aromatic nose of malt and nuts. Taste of ripe grains, malt, brown bread, torf and raisins. Hints of strong alcohol, caramel and honey. Easy to drink, solid bock.
