On tap in the Wildeman. Poured a murky yellow with a healthy white head. Aroma of floral hops with wheat and spices. Flavour is of coriander and some light floral hops. Haven’t really rated any Braustelle/Freigeist before, this is a distinct improvement, nice session beer.

Pours hazy light golden / yellow with a modest sized white head. The aroma has lots of coriander, mild tartness, pale malt, light breadiness and a touch of minerals. It has a medium / light body with light amount of carbonation that is pretty gentle. The taste starts with a weird fruity tartness, pear, granny smith apples, coriander, pepper, mild malt and a cross of crisp and smoothness. The finish has some aspirin and minerals as well a bright earthiness that may be from the spruce needles. Really nice and refreshing.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein minimal trübes hell gelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht säuerlich, würzig, hefig. Geschmack malzig säuerlich, getreidig, fruchtig.

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is light to medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (herbs), with notes of orange/lemon peel, light notes of coriander. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter, lightly salty. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, lightly salty. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. I can’t say that I get much if any of the spruce, so it comes off as a standard rendition. I definitely get saltiness on the tongue. Some acidity for sure too, but overall the mouth experience is rather mild. Pretty average.

Very cloudy beige colored pour with thin whisps of white head. Smell of british pale malts that are slightly rubbery, some lemony citrus too. Low carbonation, somewhat watery mouthfeel, clean finish. Flavor is crisp with a little of the pale malt evident. Sour yeast flavor that’s difficult distinguish. The sourness falls away quickly, very small amount of berry but more lemon than anything. This tastes like a great british pale ale that has brett or some other bacteria added to sour it. Very unique and refreshing.

Pours a cloudy straw gold with a short white head and lacing. It has a subtle aroma of spruce and slight funk with a similar flavor that has a slightly tart finish over a light/medium body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500 ml bottle from Whole Foods. Pours a cloudy copper color with a small white head. A refreshing citrus nose. The flavor is rich citrus, some light pine, the spruce isn’t massive, but there. The totality is a sweet bready but light almost tart flavors, Light salt. A great easy drinking beer.
