Hazy yellow/golden color, white head. Aroma of citrus, herbs, soap. Fresh taste, tart. High carbonation.

Bottle. Aroma is heavy wheat, lemon juice and very mild spruce. Tastes the same. Medium to full body. Very little salt and spruce. Not bad but kinda boring.

Clear brilliant deep golden with a thin white cap. Amazing floral aroma with a load of orange rind and dry Belgian funk. Dry and earthy biscuity flavor with a nice floral funkiness underneath, some coriander, and a little dusty and sharp. Really intricate, delicate yet bold, and I can’t get over this floral/coriander undertone. It’s great.

rumproasts (4700) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - APR 10, 2016
bottle. Lightly hazy golden with one finger head. Sometimes I really struggle to describe a beer, and this would definitely be one of those times. Fairly light body. A bit of tartness, but not enough to be a considered a sour. If I didn’t know there was spruce here, I’d really be confused. It’s a strange (but enjoyable) flavor, especially within the context of the overall beer. I enjoyed this -- very unique.

Bottle from Whole Foods in Sugar Land. Hazy yellow with a small white head. Mild aroma of wheat with maybe a hint of spruce. Taste is slightly brined grain with a faint touch of sourness. Light bodied, lightly carbonated, and slick. Ok, but really not a whole lot going on.

ElDesmadre (2893) - Mikołów, POLAND - MAR 16, 2016
Bottle. Quite pronounced spruce notes, perfumy coriander, subtle hints of citrus zest. Salty already in the aroma, like the air at sea. Rather herbal as well. Quite salty taste, which goes surprisingly well with the spruce. Herbal bitterness, quite strong for the style. Very interesting, tasty beer.

Pint bottle. A large white fluffy head. The beer is clear golden. This beer has fairly tart fruit. Some pine, light salt, and soft malts. Herbal notes. Could almost be a Berliner Weiss.

Hazy peach color with off-white head. Aroma has wheat, yeast esters and spruce. Also a bit of orange, similar to a witbier. Taste is also closer to a witbier than a gose. No tartness at all, just wheat, cloves, spruce and some herbal bitterness. Body is on the light side but also really smooth. Not bad but it doesn’t taste like a gose, more like a resiny witbier.

Keg at the hanging bat. Pours murky orange, nose is funky, spruce, toffee, taste is salty and smoky up front, light pine in the finish.
